No Joking this time....
That's right...the house is SOLD!! For real this time:-)! The day our first buyers backed out we showed the house that night & we got another offer. We are very happy that it happened so quickly but a little shocked that we are going to be homeless in 3 weeks. We close April 29th but we will be moving the weekend prior to that April 23rd-24th.
Next week we are going to Warsaw to look at houses & land. Hopefully we find something we like so we can get the ball rolling & put some roots down somewhere.
We are enjoying the warm, sunny weather here & praying that the bad "s" word (snow) has decided not to show up again:-).
We will keep you posted on the house search...

Not Sold
Today our buyers backed out of their purchase agreement. We had our inspection yesterday. There are no major problems just general maintenance that comes with a 35 year old home. Our realtor thinks that they had a bit of buyers remorse & decided to use this as their out. This has been an extremely frustrating day for all of us--to say the very least. So we are back to square one. Hopefully we find people that really want to buy our house for longer than 3 days.
One to more showings....

Our House...
Here it is---wait for it---we're DONE!!! To say that we are excited is an understatement; it has been a lot of very long nights, frustration, mental/physical/emotion stress but it is finally done & on the market.
Yes, we are going to celebrate & hopefully it is will a sign full price offer in the next month---okay I know I am being optimistic so unlike me:-) We just want to say thanks to everyone who helped pound nails, sand walls, move boxes, or just try to keep us from going over the deep end:-). Without you Matt & I may have been committed but seriously we wouldn't be one step closer to our goal of being back in IN by the fall. Thanks you so much Dad & Mom Bucher(Jerry was key in getting the 4th level looking like a room), Dad & Mom Purdy(Rosie was tetras queen with all of our boxes & helping me Monday get ready for the photographer), Kenny & Cheryl, Lowe's carpet people(I know they probably will never read my blog but hey thanks anyways), Savannah for putting up with your crazy mommy & daddy, & all the friends & family who always send us encouragement. No we are not excepting an Oscar but I do feel like we are at the end of the marathon.
Enjoy the pictures & we wish we could have everyone over to see all our hard work.

Dance Party
We are having a crazy week to say the least. Our new refrigerator has already had its first visit from the repairman for a leak in the main line for the coolant. OH BOY!! Can you tell how happy I am?! We lost everything in our fridge & freezer & didn't have a refridgertor until Friday afternoon. So we were like campers with our cooler & ice:-). Oh well, I guess it is an excuse not to cook. But I love cooking & especially with the new stove/oven. It is what relaxes me through all of the remodeling stress:-). I guess we will be doing our part to strengthen the Eden Prairie(EP) restaurant economy.
Matt & our neighbor, Kenny, sprayed the ceiling in the 4th level, we have painted walls & trim, installed doors & trim, & finally have people coming to install our carpet Monday morning. The carpet situation is a very long story but I will sum it up like this---don't use Home Depot always stick with Lowes. The end is near--that is my mantra.
We have had some fun this week. Tuesday after the bad news of the fridge, Savannah & I went to the Potty Dance Party at the Mall of America. If you are unfamiliar with the Pull Up Potty Dance you should check it out at www.pullups.com. Minneapolis is one of the four cities that had the fun party. Savannah got to go to her first concert & they gave out pink tutus & maracas for the girls & bow ties & hats for the boys:-). Savannah danced & grooved to the music for over an hour. It was great to see her have so much fun. This morning we had a great play date & lunch with our friends. It's always fun to go to someone else's house & play with new toys & have a change of scenery. Especially when the scenery in your house is paint cans, chaulk, drywall dust, & a crazy dog:-).
Rosie is here this week while Matt is in New Orleans. Matt & I have been so thankful that she could be here to help us with Savannah so we can paint, yell at Home Depot, & help with a little stress. Here are a few pictures & video of the last week....
