Savannah is 5 months old!! It is hard to believe that last year at this time Matt & I were looking at houses in MN and wondering if we were going to have a boy or a girl. It is amazing how fast the past year has gone.
The past week has been very eventful for our little pumpkin. Last Monday Savannah's first tooth popped up on the lower left side. The lower right side is working its way to the surface, so probably later this week our little girl will have 2 teeth:-). This is making her not nap as well but thankfully she is sleeping well at night. So we will take what we can get. We will miss her gummy smile but we also think this one is pretty cute. Savannah also graduated to the next size bath tub. It is a big yellow ducky that quacks--too cute. Izzy really didn't know what to think about the quacking, but Savannah seemed to like it.
Matt & I have begun the process of baby proofing the house. If any of you have seen Baby Mama then you will appreciate the toilet seat safety bar and the door stops. Pretty much our house is Jeri proofed too because I am not smart enough to remember they are there or figure them out--pretty darn funny. Savannah is starting to scoot/wiggle. She puts her butt up in the air and pushes her body forward. She hasn't yet learned that your arms are there to help you move. It is pretty cute but she get frustrated fast.
Like everyone else we changed time this week. Savannah adjusted better than us. It is nice to have more daylight in the evening but I am not going to lie the mornings are horrible. Plus I hate resetting all the clocks. Oh well, it means that spring and summer are closer and for me it could not come soon enough.
The link to the lasted pictures is below. We tried to get a picture of her little tooth but that was a little harder than we thought so you will have to use your imagination. Have a great week!!
