Ahh summer sun & heat is in Indiana:-). I LOVE the 80 & 90* days we have had & so does Savannah. We don't get a lot done other than playing in the water, swinging, & going to the beach but that is what summer is all about:-).

Matt had a very looooong trip to France. We missed him lots & were very happy when he was back. This was the first trip that Savannah really realized Daddy had been gone a long time & she asked nearly every 5 min, "dada at?" But she was happy when dada brought her back her new best friend Moo. They are now inseparable. I was happy for delicious french chocolate:-).

Here are a few pictures...

What to do on a rainy day...

Here's what we do on rainy days...

We color a lot.. Izzy sleeps---wait she does that any day:-)

Mommy's favorite--we BAKE!! Chocolate cures all rainy blues:-)
See don't they make you smile?!What's better than baking them.... Well, of course, eating them

Hopefully the sun shows up this week. We are going a little stir crazy--haha. No pun intended!

A wedding & a child dedication

Mother's Day weekend was a huge weekend in our house. Saturday my brother, Darby, married his beautiful bride Jodi. Unfortunately, it was cold & rainy but it was a great day & full of fun. Savannah was one of their flower girls & she did pretty well.

On Mother's Day, Savannah was dedicated at FBC in North Manchester, IN. She was squirmy & kept pointing & screaming baby, baby but it was a good day.

Here area few of the pictures from that weekend.... (I will have more of the wedding when I get them from the bride & groom)

Yes, We are still alive!

Sorry I haven't posted in a while but we have been just a little busy. AND I had to find my cables for my camera--oops! The past month has been exhausting to say the least but we are so thankful to be in a house we love & be settled. We miss our friends from MN & our proximity to things like Target, Trader Joes, & Starbuck's but now those things are extra special:-).

Savannah has adjusted really well. She loves running around in the house, hiding in the empty cabinets, and looking out all the windows. We love that we can see a full sky of stars, take a very short walk to the lake, & see all of our IN friends & family without a 10 hour car ride.

Here are few pictures from the move....

A Little Favor Please...

Savannah's ECFE teacher, Ms. K, is currently in a medical study for a new drug to treat her rare form of lukemia. She travels back & forth from Eden Prairie, MN to Ann Arbor, MI every other week for treatment. She has her own blog & in today's entry she asked for a small favor that I think all of you can help with too. Ms K. entered a contest with the MN Twins. Here is her request from her blog:

"I have been a lifelong Minnesota Twins fan. They are having a "Going to Bat for Breast Cancer" for breast cancer survivors. I entered the contest with my story, for I am a breast cancer survivor as well. I need your votes! Each team will have a winner that is the Bat Girl for a home game on Mother's Day. I would love to be in the dugout with my favorite team! Please click on the link below, it should take you to page 49 where you will see a picture of our family and read my story. You can then vote for my story! (Everyone in your family can vote, I think!) Thanks for your support."

Click on the link below & read her story (3 one down "Karen") & click the vote button. I just wanted to help a strong, women that helps so many parents & kids in our community.

Hope everyone has a great week!
