Happy Birthday to me...

I had a great birthday. Savannah slept in--the best gift ever!! We went to Savannah's class & had fun with our friends. Then we came home & had a relaxing afternoon. Matt brought home a great birthday cake & a great birthday present. Here are few snapshots from my day...

Yes the Colts Again

I have combined some of my favorite things in life--Colts, baking, cake, & buttercream frosting.

Let's hope Matt's coworkers love it as much as me:-)

GOOOOO COLTS!!!

COLTS are in the Superbowl!!! We were so happy to have our team advance to the Superbowl & Matt informed me that if the Vikings won I needed to take my Colts Spirit down a few notches so we didn't have our house egged:-). But no Superbowl for Farve:-) (if you know how much I dislike Farve you will understand the smiley face.)

Savannah & I started Spanish classes today. Let's just say mommy has as much to learn as Savannah (even though I took 2.5 years of Spanish). Savannah did great & was fascinated with the teacher. I can't wait to see how she progresses over the next 3 months.

Matt made it home from Europe this weekend! He was in the UK for 2 days & then in France for 4 days on business. We were all very thankful to have him back & that he had a safe & uneventful trip. Thankfully, he doesn't have any travel scheduled until March so we get to have him at home for a few weeks.

We are still working on the house. The master bath is 1/2 way complete & the 4th level is 80% done. We still have about 3-4 weeks of work left & are hoping that it goes a little quicker. Once we have more completed I will post more pictures.

A Decade in Review

Since it is 2010, I thought I would do a review of the last decade (involving Matt, Savannah, Izzy, and me).

2000-2003
Matt graduates from MHS (2000) & starts at Huntington College
I graduate from MHS (2002).
Matt & I get engaged in July 2003

2004
Matt graduates from HC & starts working at DePuy in May
Matt & I get married in July 2004
I start coaching at Triton High School in July.

2005
Izzy is born in Jan. & we get our first "baby" in March.
We buy our first home in April & start becoming DIYers:-)
Matt has an emergency appendectomy in June.

2006
Izzy turns 1!
I start coaching at WCHS in June.
Matt changes jobs & starts at DVO in August.

2007
Matt turns 25!
Matt's company gets sold to Tornier in March.
I graduated from IPFW in Dec.
We decide to move to Minneapolis, MN in Dec.

2008
We find out that we are having a baby in Jan. & that its a girl in May.
Sell our house in Warsaw in April.
We move to Minneapolis in May.
Buy a house in May.
Have a beautiful, baby girl in Sept.

2009
I turn 25...
Matt & I celebrate our 5th Wedding Anniversary in July.
Savannah turns 1 in Sept.
Family Vacation to San Diego in Oct.
